About Maryellen Derr :
Maryellen, is a talented baker with a deep love for traditional recipes and a commitment to quality. Her foray into the baking business began in her own kitchen, where a hobby became a passion and friends and family realized what a unique talent she has.
When asked: she’ll tell you her “secret ingredient” is love. She set the foundation for what would soon become a thriving bakery located in West Chester, Pennsylvania in 2011 on her 33rd birthday, which she celebrated by signing the lease for her first storefront. Through her affiliations with local commerce, television appearances and donations to many charitable organizations – local sports teams like the Phillies, Flyers and Baltimore Orioles began hiring her for special projects. Her success only gathered steam from there!
A true “Delco” girl at heart Maryellen was raised in Clifton Heights, and now resides in West Chester, where she enjoys wearing fancy dresses and the occasional martini when she is not working tirelessly to grow her business.
