Approximately 12 years ago, Murphy joined with other veterans to found the Philadelphia Veterans Parade The parade serves as a tribute to military service. It honors veterans, upholds their legacy and brings the community closer together through a vibrant celebration in Philadelphia on Veterans Day.
We celebrate those who serve and who have served on November 8th, 2026 beginning at 12:00 and the Festival at 12:30 on The Eakins Oval . It is a day of family, community, Drum Corps, Jumps Downs, Bands and so much more .
